Meet Padraic Rafferty

Attorney Padraic Rafferty heads both the Criminal Division and Real Estate Division at Eden Rafferty.  Attorney Rafferty concentrates his practice in the areas of Criminal Law, Real Estate Conveyance, and General Litigation.  Attorney Rafferty zealously represents his clients in both the District Court and Superior Court, having tried over 100 trials to verdict. He brings passion, commitment, and significant trial experience, with no fear to relentlessly fight for his clients to yield the best possible outcome.  Outside the courtroom, Attorney Rafferty has an extended network to assist his client with their Real Estate needs, including, realtors, mortgage brokers, and insurance agents.   Attorney Rafferty additionally has been a licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker since 2017.

With his extended litigation background, Attorney Rafferty worked as a Prosecutor in the Worcester District Attorney’s Office for several years prior to joining Eden Rafferty in early 2019. While employed at the District Attorney’s Office, Attorney Rafferty attended intensive trainings pertaining to Crash Reconstruction and was a community educator for Countering Violent Extremism, a task force under the leadership of the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Department of Justice.

Prior to joining the practice of law, Attorney Rafferty received his Bachelor’s Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Industrial Design Engineering and is the first evening student to simultaneously graduate with both a Law Degree and a Masters in Taxation (LL.M.) from Suffolk University Law School. He is a proud and active member of the Worcester County Bar Association.

Attorney Rafferty lives in the Worcester County area, with his wife and two children.
